The BAILEY family has its roots in Cornwall but joins the PERKINS Family when Thomas PERKINS married Mary Elizabeth BAILEY on 26th March 1884 in Cardiff, Wales.
Henry Petherick BAILEY was the base born son of Mary Blamy BAILEY. He was baptised at Whitstone, Cornwall on 9th december 1838. The father is not named but given his unusual middle of Petherick it is likely that that was the surname of the father. (A DNA match to a PETHERICK descendant could confirm this.)
